One of the main reasons why France was in World War 1, was because they were involved in the treaties that obligated them to defend certain other nations. Western and Eastern fronts quickly opened up along the borders of Germany and Austria - Hungry.

June 28, was a special date in Serbian history, in this date in 1939, Serbia was conquered by the Ottoman empire. and then on the very same date in 1912, serbia had freed itself from the Turkish rule. One of the most fatal decesissions that the archduke made was to ignore all of the warnings of anti- Austrian unrest. So as the archduke planned, he would continue his motor bregade through the town of Sarajevo. Stationed along his and his wife;s route, was members of the black hand terriosts group. The car that they were riding in was opened car which wasnt good at all. While the car drove by the first group of terriosts, nothing happened. The granade that was tended to kill both the archduke and his wife, Sophie, did not go off. It missed the archduke and hit a near by officer. Later on during that day the archduke and Sophie, went to the hospital to go and check on the injured officer. While they went to go make a turn on a street, on of the black hand members, Gavrilo Princip, was waiting there. Moments later shots were fired, and the archduke and his wife were dead.
My Battle Plan:
In the following paragraph will be France's battle plan for winning the world war 1. The plan for France is to defend our territory. We will not let anybody in our property. But the Schlieffen plan didnt help us so much. The Schlieffen plan was made up to avoid a two front war with Russia in the east and us in the west. This was thought of because of Russia's slow millitary. But what was not good for us was that with the plan said that germany would be able to defeat us quickly and surley. Then when that was done, germany would fight russia. Then to ensure a quick victory in the west, germany would have to walk through Belgium, then try to sneak up on us. In order to make sure that we won World War 1, we would need the best weapons available. An example would be the machiene gun. With the machiene gun on the french side, the gun would lead to a better advantage. Also with this weapon, it helped create a stalemate by making it difficult to advance across no man's land.Which then would mean in reasulting in deaths of the enemies. Another weapon we could use would be an aircraft. An aircraft, which we would be able to fly over the enemies land, where we could through granades at them or even bombs. In an aircraft, with the bomb, the aircraft can hold a bomb that weighs up to 2,000 pounds.WOW!
But in 1916, both allies and central powers launched massive offenceves to break stalemates. Then the german's tried to overwehlm us in Verdun. Then we sat up a battle cry," They shall not pass". But we held up strong

The goal of the propaganda was to reserve the amount of food, and drinks for the soldiers. And what they are saying by, " do with less- so they'll have enough", is sating that they want people who are not fighting in the war, to save whatever they can, so that the soldiers will have enough food while they were fighting. The propaganda technique that this poster uses is conservation of resources such as food, oil, steel and many more. This propaganda poster, is an emotional symbol because it has a picture of a cup, and in that cup there would be ea drink, and they are asking people who are not in the war, to conserve any food, so the soldiers will have food.
Russia's Exit and The United States Enters The treaty of Versales allowed Russia to leave the war. One thing that people in the war didnt like, was that we sent fifteen year olds to the front line. But one thing that you need to consider is that maybe some thirty year old guy who has been fighting in the wa for a very long time now, he might not be as good on the frontline as the fifteen year old. Plus he might have better eyesight than anybody else on the front line.With russia leaving the war on the treaty of versailes, and the usa, coming into the war, that made our chances of winning in the war to decrease. The united states now entering the war now means that the have more men, better fighting startegies and then better weapons.

The treaty of VErsailes was a peace treaty after world war 1. The document was signed in 1918. The treaty basically said that there shall be no more wars in Russia. Well that ment that Russia got to leave the war earlier than everyone else did. Germany felt that this was unfair to them and all of the other countries who didnt get to leave early.
